Whether you want your dog to retrieve just for fun or you’re preparing for something more advanced, this program is a great place to start. We’ll teach your dog how to retrieve reliably, hold objects properly, and perform with confidence—step by step.

This service is perfect for owners interested in service dog task training, obedience competitions, or hunting. With personalized instruction and a clear training plan, we’ll help your dog build the skills needed for whatever goal you have in mind.

Service Covers:

• Five (5) onsite 30-minute lessons that will:
  • Develop a consistent and reliable “hold” behavior
  • Maintain the “hold” while moving with you
  • Respond to commands amid distractions and increasing distance
  • Successfully retrieve their first object on command
  • Retrieve a variety of objects confidently
  • Build a strong foundation for advanced retrieving or fieldwork

Dogs must be already conditioned to the e-collar before starting this training. We e-collar condition with our off-leash recall. Click here for more information on our off-leash recall.

• Who Should Enroll: Any owner who wants to teach their dog to retrieve
• Where: All Dawgs, 30 Railroad Ave, Albany, NY
• When: Private lessons take place on the weekends, and are based on the trainer’s availability. Access to the trainer’s calendar is granted once registration, payment and vaccinations are received
