Off-Leash Recall Lesson Information

We look forward to working with you and your dog for your lessons. Please note, we have a ‘no cancel’ policy for the above lesson(s). If you are unable to make the lesson, we ask that you please email your trainer, LuAnn Charbonneau at least two (2) hours before your lesson as a courtesy so we are not waiting for you at your appointment.

Your lesson will be held at the Crossings of Colonie, 580 Albany Shaker Rd, Loudonville, NY 12211. Below is a map of the park We’ve circled the area where you’ll meet your trainer.

Please note that this type of lesson is dependent upon the weather, and if the weather is not suitable for this type of lesson we will reschedule at our earliest convenience. Your trainer will contact you no less than one hour before your lesson appointment if we’ll need to reschedule due to weather.

Unfortunately, we can only wait for a client for 15 minutes from the start of an appointment time. After that, clients will be considered no show and trainers may leave the lesson site.

You’ll need:

• Treats – SMALL (no bigger than half the size of a dime) and SOFT. String cheese and hotdogs make great training treats. Don’t worry about using human treats for training. Unless your gets fed from the table (couch, etc.) he/she shouldn’t beg!
• Nylon, cotton, or leather collar and a 3 to 4-foot leash. Retractable leashes are not good training tools.
• Make sure your dog has a chance go potty before our lesson, so we don’t have to stop once we get started!

We will be unable to issue any refunds or exchanges of funds to another service for this lesson.
