Your dog’s first step in their training journey!
In this basic skills class, we use a building-block approach to begin your dog’s training. With trainer-lead demonstrations, including beginning to work through distractions, interactive hands-on exercises and written homework, we’ll give you the tools you need to train your dog.
Class Covers:
- Basic obedience including sit, down, stand, stays, attention on the owner, come when called, drop it and leave it.
- A process of beginning to wean off the use of treats
- Training techniques to ensure that your dog complies on the first command
Class Info:
- Who: Dogs six months and older, and dogs younger than six months who have completed our Puppy Dawgs class. We also recommend our Dawgie Daycare for Small Dawgs and Big Dawgs for socialization and to help expel your dog’s energy!
