Dawg House Manager

Our Dawg House Manager manages the our Dog Daycare, petsitting and (soon) overnight boarding services for our ever-growing clientele. This Manager will:

  • supervise the daycare staff
  • Hire and fire department staff members
  • Review department payroll and bonuses
  • Marketing/new client acquisition
    • The successful candidate will:

 

  • Have at least three years of dog pack management experience
  • Have at least two year of staff management experience
  • Have sales/marketing experience
  • Be comfortable around all different dog breeds, sizes and behaviors
  • Be organized and task-oriented, with strong time management skills
  • Be able to supervise staff and be a team player
  • Be a strong leader and self-motivated
  • Be tech savvy
    • This is a salaried position making $43,680 per year plus the potential for performance-based bonuses and Employee Incentive Discounts. The Dawg House Manager works 10:30 AM to 7 PM Monday though Friday as well as occasionally assisting in company events during the weekends.

 

Assistant Daycare Manager

Our Assistant Dog Daycare Manager manages the day-to-day running of our dog daycare. The Assistant Dog Daycare Manager will:

  • manage employees and their specific assignments for each day
  • train new daycare staff members
  • manage daycare supply inventory
  • integrate new daycare dogs into packs

The successful candidate will:

  • Have approximately two years of dog daycare experience
  • Have at least one year of staff management experience
  • Be comfortable around all different dog breeds, sizes and behaviors
  • Be organized and task-oriented, with strong time management skills
  • Have sales/customer service experience
  • Be able to supervise staff and be a team player
  • Be a strong leader and self-motivated
  • Be tech savvy

The Assistant Dog Daycare Manager earns $15.00 per hour plus the potential for performance-based bonuses and Employee Incentive Discounts. The Assistant Dog Daycare Manager works 6:15 AM to 2:45 PM Monday though Friday as well as occasionally assisting in company events during the weekends.

Daycare Technician

Love dogs? Join our growing team as a Daycare Technician! Assist our Daycare Instructors with exercising, socializing and caring for packs of dogs in our 5,500 SF facility. Learn to read canine body language and train dogs to mind basic manners, both with humans and other canines. Lots of room for advancement makes this perfect opportunity for someone looking to start a career with dogs!

This position is a physically active position, requiring a great deal of time cleaning and moving equipment. You’ll be engaging dogs of all sizes and breeds. Candidates should be prepared to think fast, move quickly and learn from their human and dog counterparts in this position. Hours for this position are:

6:15 AM to 12:30 PM Monday – Friday (OPENING POSITION)

Our Daycare Technicians earn $11.10 per hour plus the potential for performance-based bonuses. Daycare Instructors work 9:00 AM to Daycare close (about 6:30 PM) Monday though Friday as well as occasionally assisting in company events during the weekends.

 

Assistant Instructor

We’re seeking an assistant dog trainer to help us continue to serve our group class clientele. The successful applicant will have a positive attitude and have excellent client-facing communication skills. The assistant trainer helps run group dog training classes in the evenings and, eventually, on Saturday mornings as well as assisting in All Dawgs events. The successful candidate must be available two to four times per week and the position is approximately 6-12 hours each week.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist class instructor in group class and at company events
  • Inform clients of other services available to them
  • Sell training and other merchandise

Qualifications and Skills

In addition, the successful candidate will:

  • Have at least six months of dog training experience. Candidates without this experience cannot be considered. To obtain this experience, we offer a Dog Trainer Apprenticeship Program. Click here for more information.
