Intermediate Obedience

After Beginner Obedience, Intermediate Obedience is the next step in your dog’s training journey!

If your dog has taken the foundational Beginner Obedience class, he’s ready to learn more complex behaviors in Intermediate Obedience.

This class is where the magic happens! Intermediate Obedience is the perquisite to our Therapy Dawg Prep,  Agility Foundations, and Rally Obedience classes. We build on what your dog has already learned in Beginner Obedience to teach him more advanced skills, working with you both to give you the tools you need to succeed!

Class Covers:

• Advanced behaviors such as attention heeling, stay at longer distances and durations and polishing your dog’s recall (come when called)
• Becoming less reliant on treats and more responsive to you
• Assessing your dog’s skills to ensure that he’s ready for higher learning

Class Info:

• Who: Dogs who have either completed our Beginner Obedience class or dogs who have the skills of sit, down, stay, come when called and walk on a loose leash.
• Where: All Dawgs, 30 Railroad Ave, Albany, NY
